CopySafe PDF Reader is a simple, neat and handy tool that allows opening protected PDF documents and reading their contents. This tool can basically open the copy-protected PDF documents that come encrypted in the form of ENC files. Anyway, the fact that it can open only ENC files and not simple, unprotected PDF documents too, is not the only major disadvantage of this application. Though the producer states that this tool protects the content of the opened documents against being stolen using screen capture and recording tools, I could use such utilities to screenshot the sample PDF opened by CopySafe PDF Reader without any problem.
This application is very simple, therefore it comes with very few options as well. It only allows zooming the loaded documents, navigating their pages, or using a basic search function. It's indeed easy-to-use, but at the price of any other advanced options or additional features.
Even if it's free, I find it quite hard to recommend this tool, as except for viewing encrypted PDF files (ENC files), it lacks any other usability.
